On November 12-15 Tunis hosted the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) Annual Conference, which was attended by over 120 delegates from 35 countries.

AECR Council Member, “Prosperous Armenia” Party’s Political council member Armen Arzumanyan also attended the conference.

The major issues of the conference agenda were the challenges of living in an independent world and the opportunities of countries countering them, security, economic development, people's welfare, the serious problems of job creation, as well as the implications of globalization by means of current challenges.

AECR Council Member, PAP Political council member Armen Arzumanyan in his speech referred to social-economic problems of the Republic of Armenia, also to the main challenges the country faces, the other issues on country's political agenda, as well as perceiving and appreciation of European values in the process of above mentioned.

The forum discussed the accession to the alliance of five parties from Italy, Finland, Slovakia, Croatia, and two parties’ applications AECR joining from Germany and Romania.

The next conference of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists will be held in Armenia in February 2016.
